About this page

I am a late comer on this ship, I know. I pretty much was turned onto Stargate when I was injured (for my own stupidity I assure you) and I took to the Netflix to find something to occupy myself. I discovered that one of my favorite movies of all time had been made into a TV show, so I started to watch. And fell in love. With Daniel Jackson. Madly. Not just Michael Shanks (although I am fairly certain that he is a Grecian God - oh dear lord....) but the character himself. Then came seasons 9 and 10 and I was just upset by the whole thing. I love Claudia Black and the scenes were fun, but really? Her? That is what they decided he would end up with? Ugh. I mean really, what would they talk about, ever? So, I made him someone. This is your warning. This is sorta a Mary Sue. Sorta because a Mary Sue is Ms. Perfect and while Adrienne seems perfect at first she is NOT. By a stretch. She needs someone like him as bad as he needed someone like her. This is their love story.

Adrienne shivered, pulling the blanket over her shoulders and scooting closer to his warm skin.

"You cold?" he asked, surprising her since she thought he was asleep.

"A little," she whispered, "but you're not." She turned her body so she could face him again, intertwining their legs. He held her closer to his body, reaching for her lower back to wrap them together.

"Better?"

She nodded into his neck.

"Yeah," she sighed out, "what time is it?"

"Six," he whispered as he nuzzled her closer, "we can lay here for a while longer."

"How about forever?' she asked as she giggled, Daniel kisses her forehead so softly.

"I wish," he muttered, working his lips down her cheek and back to her mouth, his hand reaching for her face.

"It happened," she murmured as he pulled away his mouth but not her body, "it happened and I didn't freak out."

"No, you didn't."

"Thank you for being patient with me," she added, making Daniel kiss her temple, hugging her tightly.

"Thank you for trusting me," he had to say. What she had given him last night was far more than her body; it was her soul, and her faith, that he would never hurt her.

"I love you Daniel," she said because she hadn't said it enough, she would never be able to say it enough to express to this man how he had changed the only thing in her life that she had ever given up on.

"I love you Adrienne, so much," he paused, taking and breath and pulling her closer, "I never thought any of this was possible, to feel this way again."

"I didn't either."

"Go back to sleep," he ordered gently, "I'll keep you warm until we have to get up."

Smiling, Adrienne scooted herself impossibly closer, more than happy to sleep in his arms.
