About this page

I am a late comer on this ship, I know. I pretty much was turned onto Stargate when I was injured (for my own stupidity I assure you) and I took to the Netflix to find something to occupy myself. I discovered that one of my favorite movies of all time had been made into a TV show, so I started to watch. And fell in love. With Daniel Jackson. Madly. Not just Michael Shanks (although I am fairly certain that he is a Grecian God - oh dear lord....) but the character himself. Then came seasons 9 and 10 and I was just upset by the whole thing. I love Claudia Black and the scenes were fun, but really? Her? That is what they decided he would end up with? Ugh. I mean really, what would they talk about, ever? So, I made him someone. This is your warning. This is sorta a Mary Sue. Sorta because a Mary Sue is Ms. Perfect and while Adrienne seems perfect at first she is NOT. By a stretch. She needs someone like him as bad as he needed someone like her. This is their love story.

The next morning

I have a thing with intimacy, so I hope this doesn't offend....

Adrienne leaned over the sink, peering into the mirror as Daniel entered in behind her.

“We don’t have anything until noon, since we just got back; did you want to go out and get real food for breakfast?” he asked. Adrienne shrugged turning around to see him pulling his boxer briefs downward slightly, turn his back to her and...

“What are you doing???”

“Peeing,” he answered like it was the most normal thing in the world.

“But I’m right here??!?!”

“So,” and he just kept on going.

She was gonna die.

“But, it’s not decent...”

“Really Ad, after last night,” he peered over his shoulder.

“That was different,” she shot quickly.

“How exactly?”

How is he not finished???

“It’s a bodily function.”

“And so is making love,” he answered, reaching to do exactly what Adrienne knew but turned her back to him nonetheless.

“But it’s different...”

“Again, how,” and he was pushing her out of the way with his hips, thankfully covered, reaching to wash his hands.

“It just is.”

“Alright, so just let me get this straight,” he said as he scrubbed laughing, “you’ve seen me naked, I’ve seen you naked, we’ve seen one another  - “

“Don’t say that word.”

“What word?”

“That word you were gonna say.”

Daniel laughed.

“How did you know what I was gonna say?”

“Never mind,” she grumbled, jumping up onto the counter. Chuckling, he dried his hands,  walking over and grabbing her knees, spreading her legs to slip between them.

“I won’t pee in front of you if it bothers you that badly,” he said, kissing her nose, “I’m just comfortable, even more so now. Is there anything else that I need to know bothers you?”

Adrienne blushed.

“I’m kinda scared about showering together,” she admitted.

“So, you think that last night just opened up the flood gates of everything. That once was a magic fix all?”

“No...”

He kissed her again softly.

“I didn’t think so,” he said as he reached behind her neck, touching their foreheads, “it’ll take time and we don’t have to do anything that you don’t want to do. Ever. I’m just honored that you trust me as much as you do.”

Adrienne looked away, embarrassed again for a moment before taking a breath, pushing Daniel away and hopping from the counter.

“Breakfast?” he asked again, walking for the door as she caught his hand.

“Sure, I just need a shower first,” she said, pulling the t-shirt over her head, “wanna join me?”

“Only if you want me to,” he answered cautiously.

“I do, just take it slow...”

Daniel smiled, reaching to grab two towels to toss on the counter before pulling his underwear to the floor.

“How about I just wash your hair?”

“Ok,” she nodded with a grin, pulling back the curtain to start the water.
